Pharmacy Data Management, Inc. Systems Support Technician in Poland, Ohio

PDMI is looking to add Systems Support Technician to our team! As a Systems Support Technician, you will provide technical support to internal and external clients via ticket requests, acquire and maintain an understanding of PDMI's products and services, troubleshoot, configure laptops and imaging, and install applications.  This position requires on-site attendance multiple times per week at our Poland, Ohio location.

Since 1984, PDMI has provided pharmacy data processing and other flexible, scalable solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. We offer transparent, pass-through pharmacy processing and other services for private label Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), vertically integrated health plans and hospital systems. In addition to Pharmacy Benefit Administrative Services, we offer 340B Administration, Hospice and Long-Term Care Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal and external clients via ticketing system (Halo).

  • Configure, install, and maintain computer equipment, software, and hardware, including AWS workspaces.

  • Monitor and ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.

  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, patches, and backups.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) and support device configurations.

  • Manage software applications, licenses, and updates.

  • Implement security protocols, including antivirus, firewalls, and encryption.

  • Maintain technical documentation such as SOPs, checklists, and FAQs.

  • Train employees on new systems and technologies as needed.

  • Contribute to IT compliance audits and ensure adherence to industry standards.

  • Collaborate on projects to upgrade or improve existing IT systems.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Associate degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in systems support or similar technical roles is required.

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and AWS. Exposure to Linux operating systems is a plus.

  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ or MCSA certifications preferred.

  • Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.

  • Competencies: Ability to multi-task, collaborate cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
