Actalent Surgical Technician in Pocatello, Idaho

Description

Join our team as a full-time day or night shift Operating Room Surgical Technician in Pocatello, ID. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to assist with the nursing care of patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively. If you are passionate about providing high-quality surgical care and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. You may also be eligible for relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the nursing care of patients by performing routine and delegated duties according to departmental and hospital standards.

  • Prepare and disburse surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation pre, intra, and post-operatively.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic techniques and adhere to the principles of asepsis.

  • Follow the standards of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) guidelines.

  • Maintain clinical competence and pursue professional development opportunities.

  • Participate in the responsible management of all departmental resources.

  • Take call as required by the department.

Qualifications:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).

  • Proficiency in aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00
