The Sr. HR Generalist supports the Plymouth, MN Monitoring Center for employee onboarding, talent acquisition, employee relations, coaching, benefits, leave of absences, and general day to day support. This position partners with both employees and management to support the operations in achieving business objectives. This position will play a critical role in the coordination of HR related projects and initiatives that are designed to enhance the function and the business. Duties and Responsibilities Proactively partners with HR Managers to develop and maintain a productive and legally compliant work environment Drive strategic staffing needs across the business by partnering with Business Partner and RPO provider for world class hiring and onboarding experience. Support the performance management process, including succession planning and development planning Assist with employee relations issues as needed. Lead various HR programs such as LOA Administration, Workers Comp, EHS and Return to Work. Partner with the Shared Services team and complete various Smartsheets to process employee data, WIN Awards, etc. Coordinate HR projects and meetings, including project management to ensure timelines and project milestones are met. Compile data, prepare dashboards and/or reporting as needed. Prepare reports and presentations as needed. Administer human resources policies and procedures at Plymouth, MN Monitoring Center. Ensure consistency in the administration of HR guidelines and practices via interpretation, management coaching, and counseling. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership of new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Respond to employee inquiries and questions regarding policies, benefits, leave of absence, and other employee related needs. Respond to unemployment claims and attend unemployment hearings as needed. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. All other duties assigned by Human Resource Management. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or Organizational Development 4+ years experience in an HR generalist role Preferred: PHR, SHRM-CP, and/or Master s degree Experience with leaves of absence, coaching managers, and performance reviews Working Conditions This position will support both local employees and remote HR Managers. The job incumbent must be able to work outside of normal business hours at home and/or in the local (Plymouth, MN) office.
