Quality Control Chemist Lv1 BCForward is looking for Quality Control Chemist at Plymouth, MN 55447 (Onsite) Position Title: Quality Control Chemist Lv1 Locations: Plymouth, MN 55447 (Onsite) Expected Duration: 12+ months. Job Type: Contract with possible extension Pay Rate: $26.00/hr. on W2 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 PM Principal Accountabilities:

• 20% - Provide support to research scientists in the completion of research projects or activities, including analytical method validation.
• 60% - Conduct routine sample analysis, routine experiments, organizing and communicating results.
• 10% - Maintain laboratory equipment, and handling sample request.
• 10% - Ensure corporate EHS and Food Safety compliance.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific fields,
• Minimum 2 years chemistry lab experience (higher education can substitute experience)
• Including experience with standard chemistry lab glassware and techniques
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
• Effective organizational skills
• Ability to work independently effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific fields
• Experience in an analytical laboratory or natural product research
• Experience in food analysis
• HPLC, UHPLC, and HPLC-MS experience.
• **Analytical laboratory skills required, liquid chromatography experience a plus
