Aerotek Press Brake Operator in Plymouth, Minnesota

Press Brake Operator

1st Shift - 6am - 2;30pm - Monday-Friday

Job Description

A predominant metal stamping company is seeking skilled candidates to set up and operate Amada and Accupress press brake machines. You will be setting up tooling based on job requirements from blueprints and purchase orders, as well as moving into programming (X & Y axis) at the control when you are fully trained in. You will be producing parts for Artic Cat, John Deere, and other similar companies. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Skills and Qualifications

  • Press Brake experience

  • Experience working with Sheet Metal products

  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation proficiency

  • Reliable - Need to be at work everyday

Work Environment

The work environment is a sheet metal shop that includes numerous punch press and brake press machines. It can be quite loud due to ongoing stamping activities, but the shop is clean and organized. There is good air movement in the shop, does not get overly hot and uncomfortable.
