Mitigation Technician

Pay:

20-23/hr

Job Description

Technicians will be working in their mitigation department. This person would go to a variety of sites to inspect, document, report, and estimate damage done via water or fire. Once they inspect it site, they document their findings, report back to the lead, and the lead will estimate how much it will cost.

The candidate would be an assistant and report directly to the lead. They will do the tear outs of damage as well and perform general labor.

They would report at the shop in the morning, then get in a company vehicle (will not be driving) then heading out the job site. Will get 40 hours/week and OT is available.

Overall Duties Include:

• Responds to and leads emergency losses.

• Performs Emergency Water Extraction and Drying Services.

• Leads Mold Remediation (including demolition and cleaning).

• Inspect properties for damage and complete specific drying processes of water, fire, and contents damaged properties

• This would include the set up and take down of drying equipment, and complete the drying and monitoring process of monitoring temperatures, relative humidity, and specific humidity with moisture detection equipment

• Extract water from flooded areas

• Work through and remove demolition or damaged items such as flooring, drywall, cabinets and furniture removal

• Performs on-call rotation.

• Ability to take direction from others.
