Webasto is looking for aProduction Team Leaderon1st & 2nd Shiftfor our facility in Plymouth, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience leading others in a manufacturing environment and display an aptitude for teamwork. Job Responsibilities: Train, develop, monitor, colleagues and update training matrix as needed Provide direction on daily tasks to operators, assign work areas based on priorities, attendance and skill sets Responsible for the work results of its related team of production operators, directs them and offers first-response problem resolution Correction of malfunctions in the line, initiation of maintenance and servicing of machines and equipment (TPM) according to standard Act as interface between Production line and support services such as Quality, SCM/Line Feeder, ME / MT Maintain a positive work environment and ensures colleague compliance to all applicable standards and instructions particularly, but not exclusively relating to workplace and environmental safety, product safety and quality and employee guidebook/anti-harassment Education and Experience 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities, preferably with 1-year minimum experience in a lead role in a manufacturing environment Positive approach towards safety and 5s standards Ability to lead in a fast paced, team oriented, manufacturing environment Good verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or GED required Candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen upon acceptance of an offer We look forward to your online application!
