Your role at Clorox:

The Senior Auditor, Audit & Risk Advisory is a trusted risk advisor charged with helping to implement the Company’s global internal audit strategy aimed at advising management in the identification and mitigation of a wide range of business, financial, technology, compliance, and operational risks while strengthening the Clorox Company’s internal controls. As a senior auditor, you will provide the necessary audit expertise to promote and instill a culture of risk management and compliance which embraces industry best practices. You will be responsible for leading and executing risk-based internal audit engagements, assessing risk management processes, and providing valuable insights to enhance operational efficiency and compliance, all while supporting the Clorox Company’s achievement of its strategic objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Audit Execution

  • Assist in the planning and execution of audit projects across a broad range of risk areas, including planning, risk assessment, and scoping of audit procedures

  • Execute audit procedures, including assisting in leading walkthroughs and interviews, performing detailed testing, integrating data analytics into the audit, and identifyingissues, all while maintaining an objective mindset and appropriate level of professional skepticism

  • Prepare or supervise the timely preparation of audit workpapers

  • Communicate findings and prepare audit reports to effectively communicate the results of the engagement to internal customers and management

  • Identify the root cause of specific problems and partner with internal customers to identifyfeasible solutions that address/mitigate risk

  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness

  • Ensure work meets the Institute of Internal Audit applicable standardsTeam Development

  • Effectively maintain relationships with internal team and third party co-source provider to optimize ways of working, project efficiency, and quality of work, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development Project Management

  • Effectively manage time and resources to complete audit projectstimely, clearly communicating information and audit status to internal audit leadership along the way

  • Demonstrate, encourage, and recognize a continuous improvement approach in the internal audit function

  • Continuously evaluate current internal auditmethodology and practices to identify ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness

What we look for:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • BA or BS Degree (Accounting, Finance,Business or related field)

  • Professional certification(s) preferred (CIA, CPA, CISA, or similar professional certification)

  • Big 4 public accounting or Corporatecontrols / internal audit experience in a multi-national public company

  • Consumer products industry experience preferred

  • Knowledge of internal audit principles and practices; with knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF)

  • SAP or other ERP system experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience working in teams to successfully complete projects

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate and coach upwards and downwards

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate and enhance internal controls.

  • Data analytics experience preferred

  • Ability to work on cross-functional activities and form solid business relationships across functions

  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and self-manage workload

  • Ability to travel up to30%

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400

–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800

–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
