Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Pleasanton, California
Description
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with expertise in NetSuite software to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and code invoices accurately in NetSuite software.
Verify invoice approvals and ensure compliance with company policies.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) in a timely manner.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation.
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
Proficiency in NetSuite software preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP procedures.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with 3-way matching and purchase order processing is a plus.
