HARIBO of America Production Planning Manager in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Reporting to the Director of Supply Planning, the Production Planning Manager responsible for the full scope of Production Planning activities in the Pleasant Prairie location, including the managing of all materials flow, inventory control (raw, WIP and finished goods) and line scheduling and adjustments, to meet Customer and Company requirements in a safe and effective manner. The Production Planning Manager will manage and lead a team to ensure delivery of the needed volume correctly and on time to internal and external customers, as well as delivery of final product to the warehouse, effectively communicating to all stakeholders. This position is based out of our manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Responsibilities
Leads the Planning Function by planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities related to the delivery of the production plan in Pleasant Prairie from raw materials through shippable product.
Plays a leadership role in the creation and sustainability of the materials and planning functions in our people centric culture, as well as bringing the culture to life on a daily basis.
Manage and develop assigned teams by providing developmental, coaching, and mentoring opportunities. Hiring and training new associates to ensure their success.
Organizes, supervises, and directs the work of the production planning process in the plant, closely collaborating with Operations to ensure the success of the weekly production plan.
Manages the Production and Material Planners including supporting hiring and executing the weekly production schedules in a safe, efficient, and cost-conscious manner.
Prepares instructions regarding material, production and final production systems and procedures to ensure compliance, consistency, and sustainability.
Designs, implements, manages, and monitors replenishment, production, and other related reporting systems to meet company requirements, leveraging SAP as the system SME on Order to Stock.
Works in cooperation with Procurement and Quality to collaborate with vendors and suppliers in sustaining a partnership that allows for high quality products and efficient resolution in quality or production issues related to their goods or services.
Manages the re-work processes of the Plant and arranges for disposal of surplus materials.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Materials Operations Management (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
Minimum of 2 years of leadership/supervision experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a leadership role with a manufacturing company preferred.
Strong computer/software skills and experience working with ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
Consumer packaged goods industry experience is preferred.
Skills
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing operations, logistics, and material flow process.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational and customer service skills.
Must be able to make sound decisions, prioritize work, and direct team members in a busy production environment.
Ability to lead, develop, direct, and hold others accountable to HARIBO’s high standards.
Ability to train others and coach to compliance.
