salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Administer insurance and wellness plans, including employee education and enrollment.

  • Manage COBRA benefits.

  • Maintain 401-K records, including contributions, match, and enrollment.

  • Maintain safety scorecard information and update tracking log.

  • Manage ADP Workforce Now program and Plex software for employee database.

  • Provide HR support to employees and operations.

  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, disability leave, and other regulations.

  • Develop and maintain effective HR policies.

  • Ensure compliance with ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, and UIC requirements.

  • Provide HR support to operations in training, safety, and development programs.

  • Support Finance and Manufacturing with HR report information as needed.

  • Coordinate disciplinary or termination proceedings with HR Manager.

  • Maintain positive employee relations and motivate supervisors.

  • Direct recruiting activities to hire qualified employees.

  • Administer performance and compensation programs.

  • Process weekly payroll through Paylocity and NovaTime.

  • Handle workers compensation claims and oversee return-to-work program.
