CSP Labs is seeking a Marketing Associate with experience with digital and print marketing, familiarity with brand messaging principles, and the ability to independently manage marketing tasks across multiple business lines. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing and content creation skills, as well as proficiency in graphic design. This individual must be highly organized, capable of conducting marketing experiments, and proficient in maintaining brand consistency across all channels.

This position will require about 4 days a week on site for the first 1-2 months, but is eligible for about 2 days per week of remote work thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Reports to general manager, regularly works with service directors and possibly others from lab team
• Writes content and coordinates content marketing activities such as content calendar and possibly working with outside writers
• Collaboratively creates content marketing plan and email marketing plans for assigned business lines and calendar
• Creates marketing deliverables such as flyers, graphics, displays, banners, etc. and completes copywriting and graphic design themselves or coordinates with designers, copywriters, and either internal or external experts
• Organizes their own workload,manages their time and priorities, and maintains an open line of communication with team and supervisor to stay on top of changing priorities
• Conducts marketing experiments to determine most effective channels for each business line
• Manages website for each business line (3 or more) and updates with promotions and updated services or products
• Maintains a consistent brand message across all digital and physical marketing
• Coordinate with business manager on product launches, promotions, or other announcements and executes communications
• Posts content regularly to appropriate digital and social media channels
• Take original photos and videos to support marketing activities
• Stays up to date on the latest social media trends and marketing best practices, and implements these to business lines where appropriate

Requirements

• Self-starter, and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day guidance
• 3 or more years of experience with digital marketing (inc. LinkedIn, Instagram, X, email (e.g. Mailchimp)), copywriting, or similar
• Familiarity with SEO/SEM optimization and Google Analytics a plus
• Demonstrable experience with marketing experimentation
• Data driven decision maker
• Proficient with Google Workspace
• Bachelors degree - some biology knowledge a plus
