VentureTech Solutions Junior Accountant in Plantation, Florida
Consolidated Credit is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our Trust Accounting Team. The primary focus of this role will be on daily trust account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our trust accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for maintaining financial accuracy.
This position is in-office.
Junior Accountant Responsibilities:
Perform daily trust account reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in trust accounts promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trust account transactions.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to trust accounts.
Collaborate with the Trust Team to enhance and streamline reconciliation processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Provide support during audits and respond to auditor inquiries related to trust accounts.
Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve any trust account-related issues.
Assist in the development and implementation of trust account policies and procedures.
Junior Accountant Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on account reconciliations.
Experience in trust accounting preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
