Tig Welder
Job Description
TIG welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of aerospace tubular, sheet metal and casting engine components made of stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum alloys.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld aerospace tubular, sheet metal, and casting engine components.
Work with materials including stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum alloys.
Perform welding tasks following ASME Section IX standards.
Conduct welding tests such as ASME Section IX 2” 6G position on schedule 40, 304 stainless steel pipe.
Ensure all welding processes meet quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with a third-party QAQC company for X-Ray testing.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in TIG welding.
Experience with welding stainless steel and other alloys.
Ability to perform and pass ASME Section IX welding tests.
Strong understanding of ASME Section IX standards and requirements.
Blueprint reading skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualification as a TIG welder.
Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.

Work Environment
This position is based on a construction jobsite, requiring adherence to safety standards and protocols. The work involves handling advanced welding equipment and materials specific to aerospace manufacturing.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00
