We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team of DI SW in our global headquarters in Plano, TX.

Joining our FP&A team will give you a unique platform to grow and develop both personally and professionally. You will be part of a data-driven and business-minded team performing financial analyses and partnering with various departments. You will provide transparency on financial performance to enable informed assessment and decision making for relevant stakeholders, including DI SW’s Senior Finance Leadership and CFO.

Your new responsibilities

  • Drive and support all FP&A activities incl. monthly forecast, quarterly closing and annual budget

  • Coordinate financial analyses with relevant stakeholders to provide transparency on financial performance

  • Analyze data from various systems (e.g. SAP, ESPRIT or Hyperion) and identify trends to support informed decision-making

  • Identify opportunities to design new and/or refine existing analyses and processes to optimize productivity and accuracy

  • Execute adhoc analyses and support optimization projects through digitalization and automation

  • Assist in preparation of presentations for Senior Finance Leadership including the CFO

Your qualifications and experience

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Economics

  • Minimum of three years relevant experience in finance environment (e.g. FP&A or financial reporting)

  • Profound financial knowledge with strong focus on business analysis

  • Expert skills in driving financial analysis (Excel) as well as preparing presentations (Powerpoint); ideally additional experience with analytics and BI products (e.g. KNIME, Power BI or Tableau)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format

  • Learning mindset to tackle complex tasks combined with excellent decision-making skills

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership

  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new challenges and to act in a fast-paced environment including competing deadlines

  • Ideally understanding of software business characteristics

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $120,800 to $217,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
