Who we’re looking for

The primary objective of this Analyst role, focused on Learning Data Analytics and Reporting, is to use data to produce measurable insights and improvements for TMCC’s Learning Management System.

This job contributes significantly to the efficacy and efficiency of our learning programs by concentrating on important indicators such as, but not limited to, areas around course completions, compliance metrics and user engagement. The selected applicant will be proficient in using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and our Learning Management System to extract, analyze, and display data in a way that facilitates corporate decision-making processes.

This job is critical for preserving the integrity and quality of our learning data, ensuring that our Learning Management System is an effective tool for facilitating skill development and knowledge acquisition throughout the business.

This role is more than simply data management; it is also about turning data into actionable insights that may have a significant impact on both the specific business unit it serves and TFS globally. Using thorough analysis and reporting, the Analyst will discover patterns, highlight areas for improvement, and contribute to the strategic development of our learning programs. Their work will allow us to better personalize our educational offerings to our users' needs, thereby improving learning outcomes and team member performance throughout the organization. As a result, this function is important to achieving our organizational goals and retaining our competitive advantage in a continuously changing environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analyze Learning Data

Responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of learning data, including course completions, user engagement, and effectiveness of learning materials. The expected outcome is to uncover actionable insights that lead to the optimization of learning strategies and content.

  • Create Reports and Dashboards

Utilize Power BI, Excel, and Learning Management System reporting tools to create informative, user-friendly reports and dashboards. This function is critical for providing stakeholders with accessible data visualizations that support decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Maintain Data Integrity

With an emphasis on accuracy, controls, and regulatory reporting requirements, ensure the consistency of learning data across all platforms. This includes regular audits and updates to maintain the highest standard of data quality, directly impacting the reliability of data-driven decisions.

  • Coordinate with Stakeholders

Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate findings, and implement recommendations. This role is accountable for ensuring that data analytics efforts are aligned with organizational goals and user needs.

  • Develop Automated Reporting Solutions

Design and implement automated reporting solutions to streamline the process of data collection, analysis, and presentation. The goal is to increase efficiency and reduce the time spent on manual data handling.

  • Lead Training and Development Efforts

Conduct training sessions and develop resources to empower team members and stakeholders to effectively utilize reports and analytics tools. This function is key to fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

What you bring

  • Four-Year College Degree

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

  • Microsoft Power Automate

  • Data Modeling

  • Data Transformation

  • Data Visualization

  • Power BI

Added bonus if you have

  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

  • Microsoft Power Apps

  • Power Query (M-Query)

  • Python
