AT&T Lead Project & Program Manager in Plano, Texas

Performs non-technical program management work focused on the Flagship app program. Typically manages all aspects of the Flagship program through delivery. The incumbents are responsible for meeting the program requirements by applying project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage the Flagship program scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees comprehensive project management for the Flagship program and may also handle sub-components of extensive programs. Directs cross-functional teams to ensure project or program deliverables are completed within designated timelines and budgets.

  • Identifies critical internal and external stakeholders essential for project completion and formulates an overarching strategy for executing high-value projects and programs. Aims to elevate the efficiency and impact of project management practices by fostering collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. Strives to implement innovative solutions and streamlined processes that align with organizational goals.

  • Focuses on delivering exceptional value through meticulous planning, proactive risk management, and adaptive strategies, ensuring projects are not only completed on time and within budget but also drive significant business growth and long-term success.

  • Defines project/program scope and objectives, guides activities of a project/program team including delegating tasks to team members, identifies resources, and establishes master timeline for deliverables.

  • Projects/programs are very complex in nature, rarely follow a repeatable framework, typically span multiple business units or are company-wide, and require a high level of analysis to create project/program plans for new concept projects/programs. Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project(s) across the entire organization.

  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project/program meetings and is responsible for project/program tracking and analysis. Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of major problems. Communicates to client/vendors/leadership.

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of project & program management experience in consumer facing digital products with specialization in B2C applications.

  • Experience in mobile app capabilities, mobile app deployment lifecycle and a deep understanding of nuances between iOS and Android.

  • Senior level product management expertise that layers a strong customer experience strategy on top of your technical expertise.

  • Candidate should be capable of building bridges between the technical aspects and user-centric aspects of the mobile app experience to drive strategic frictionless experiences that maximize the technical capabilities of the AT&T Flagship Mobile App.

  • Scrum experience is a must. This role requires experience helping teams work together, to complete projects efficiently.

Education:

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science Computer Science or Business Administration degree or equivalent experience. PMP Certification desired.

Our Lead Project/Program Mgmt, earns between $118,800.00-$178,200.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
