Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Plano, Texas
Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be expected to provide exceptional help desk troubleshooting, maintain a casual working environment, and have a strong understanding of basic network security. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide basic help desk troubleshooting to ensure efficient problem resolution
• Utilize Citrix Technologies, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft tools to address and resolve issues
• Maintain and manage configurations in Active Directory
• Support computer hardware and desktop hardware, ensuring optimal functioning and minimal downtime
• Utilize your knowledge of database management to maintain and update necessary databases
• Provide Deskside Support to colleagues, assisting them in resolving technical issues
• Leverage your skills in Microsoft 365 to improve productivity and collaboration within the team
• Implement and maintain basic network security protocols to protect company data and infrastructure. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is essential
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Database management
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in Lotus Notes and Microsoft Suite
• Experience with Active Directory
• Understanding and experience with Computer Hardware
• Skills in Configuration Management
• Experience in Deskside Support
• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users and IT staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological developments and trends
• Availability to work on shift basis, including weekends and nights if required
• Relevant certification or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
