JPMorgan Chase Corporate Finance - Legal Financial Analysis - Associate in Plano, Texas
Perform data analytics and support development of data visualization solutions for the Legal Department, e.g., leveraging multiple datasets to provide insights into Outside Counsel spend
Serve as liaison between business managers and technology teams for self-service reporting tools, understanding end-to-end processes from concept to end-user viability
Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and product owners on day-to-day troubleshooting regarding reporting tools.
Ensure proper governance around internal reporting tools and dashboard development process to meet demand
Conduct analyses to identify efficiencies, gain further insights, promote continuous process improvement and automation
Monitor inventory of reports to adhere to proper reporting standards and governance
Collaborate with other internal business partners on special projects and initiatives
Prepare executive presentations, analysis and supporting materials for senior management
Participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline or BA/BS degree with relevant experience in data analytics
2+ years of experience working in finance and/or data analytics roles
2+ years of experience working with visualization tools such as Tableau
2+ years of experience writing SQL scripts for data analysis
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong collaboration and communication skills - ability to effectively work across teams
Highly motivated team player with excellent time management and prioritization skills
Energetic and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced environment
Thoughtful analytical skills - able to work with large data sets and clearly articulate and present findings
Experience with preparing executive level presentations and presenting to a senior audience
Hands on experience with Alteryx is a plus
