Appointment Scheduling Specialist – Heart & Vascular Specialist – Full-Time, Days Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Appointment Scheduling Specialist Work location: 6300 West Parker Road, MOB 2, Suite 322, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Heart & Vascular Specialist Department Highlights:

Here’s What You Need
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Related experience in Healthcare environment (strongly preferred)
Bilingual in English / Spanish (preferred)
Requires strong customer skillsGood communication skillsPossess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalismA team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Appointment Scheduling Specialist Process
Schedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies by the physician.
Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments, conducting patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care, scheduling tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
Communicates with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests and may collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance, gathers insurance information and patient personal data.
Demonstrates positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts, and performs other duties as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
