Methuen Construction Company, Inc. Regional Quality Control Manager in Plaistow, New Hampshire

Your Role
Work with the project team and/or the QCM/QAR in the development of project specific quality control plans
Work to continuously improve MC’s quality control program to become “Best in Class” and an industry leader in QC
Generate and conduct training, relative to QC processes and procedures
Lead investigation into non-conformances, determine root cause, recommend corrective actions, publish non-conformance bulletins
Ensure QMS/QARs maintain the required certifications needed per the project specifications
Mentor the development of QCM/QARs and provide continuous feedback on performance
Your Education and Experience
Minimum 15 years’ combined experience within the construction industry, as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Construction Manager required
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Construction Quality Management for Contractors, preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Ability to lift a minimum of 50-60lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles, on an active construction site
Prepared to regularly encounter moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and a variety of outside weather conditions
Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs, and ladders
Able to bend, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, balance and stoop, reach on a regular basis
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
