The Position

The Product Manager is driven by a customer-centric mindset to meet business goals by leading the development of new IT solutions. The IT Product Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development of technology products, ensuring they align with the company's vision and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical and functional background, combined with excellent business acumen and leadership abilities.

Relationships

Reports to a Senior Manager in the NNI IT Organization.

Interacts and has responsibilities to other members of the IT team, including architects, system managers, and other supporting roles. Must maintain positive and frequent communications with line of business owners and managers.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including planning, development, testing, and release

  • Develop, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on stakeholder feedback, market trends, and business objectives

  • Lead a prioritization meeting to aid stakeholders in determining which product features and enhancements will deliver the greatest value to end users (agents) and customers of Novo Nordisk

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product requirements and communicate clearly to the scrum team

  • Work closely with technical, design, and other integration teams to ensure successful product development and delivery

  • Be the single voice to the scrum team, ensuring that product goals and objectives are clearly understood

  • Engage key stakeholders to gather feedback, identify pain points, and understand user needs

  • Ensure successful implementation and adoption of the product

  • Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve the product

  • Regularly communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization

  • Create system requirements (e.g., user stories, requirements, field mappings) and business processes ensuring they align with overall business objectives and system vision

  • Participate in Sprint Demos to ensure the system build meets the agreed upon requirements

  • Provide input and support to the NNI User Acceptance Team (UAT) lead on identifying UAT scenarios, script authoring and UAT execution

  • Collaborate to build solid relationships with the cross-functional team and foster an environment where everyone feels included and respected

  • Connect with stakeholders on reporting requirements, report delivery and overall performance management

  • Manage workload prioritization

    Physical Requirements

    0-10% overnight travel required.

    Qualifications

  • Strong business insight and knowledge is required in relation to products, roadmaps etc.

  • Experience with Salesforce required

  • Experience with Genesys telephony system or similar technologies preferred

  • Experience Level:

  • 7+ years’ experience within IT or innovation function. Must have experiencing leading large initiatives across multiple business functions

  • 1+ year experience in Agile methodologies is preferred

  • Education Level:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred. May substitute relevant professional experience
