JOB OVERVIEW:

Job Opening:Personal Care Aide (PCA) – must be certified PCA*, HHA or CNAOffice:Rochester, NY (https://caregivershomecare.com/locations/home-care-in-rochester-ny) Job Location:Pittsford NY (work available in surrounding suburbs as well!)Hourly Rate:$17.55/ hourShifts Available: Day shifts (various shift lengths and start times available)
Must have a reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license– shopping/running errands for clients is part of the job (mileage paid)
*If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.
Per NYS DOH mandate, all home care agency staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID, unless they have a medical exemption from their doctor. Boosters encouraged.

Our staff loves the flexibility we offer– work one shift a week, two shifts a week, or more! Whether you want to work 6 hours a week or 40, tell us your availability and we will do our best to tailor a schedule that works for you!
DUTIES: Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.
Must be certified PCA*, HHA or CNA (expired PCA or HHA ok)
Will transition current CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHA’s – ask us how!
If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!
Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license required
Must be 18 or older
