Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician will apply various technologies and skills to test and/or modify machinery and equipment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring machinery continually operates efficiently with minimal downtime. This position reports to the Manufacturing Technician Manager and is based at all Maine facilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- UnderstandandfollowISO13485(ManufactureofMedicalDevices)standardoperatingprocedures.
- Set-up,maintain,andrepairfactorymachinery.
- Ensurethesmoothandefficientrunningofproductionmachines.
- Carryoutscheduledroutinemaintenance.
- Ensure the finished products are high quality and meet customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical set up and functional issues with chains, belts, electronic sensors, robotic machines, electric motors, and components.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Completesallrequiredmanufacturingpaperworkontime.
- EnsurethecorrectmaterialisfedintotheproductionmachinesperBOM.
- Calculateanddocumentproductyieldandwaste.
- Mentorandworkwithmachineoperatorstorunmachinesatoptimallevels.
- Performsotherrelateddutiesasassigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3-5 years of related experience in automotive, machine maintenance, or related field preferred.
- PhysicalRequirements:
