We're seeking a future team member for the role of Application Support Analyst to join our Asset Servicing Global Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Pittsburgh or Lake Mary (Northern Orlando, FL) offices via hybrid in office arrangement (3 days per week). Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Ensure operational stability of the Platforms in the production environment. Respond to, diagnose, and resolve service disruptions. Identify, define, and implement required monitoring and automation solutions Work closely with developers on continuous integration/continuous delivery solutions. Conduct root cause analysis for complex production issues Monitors changes to applications and their operating environment. Create and maintain support documentation and procedures Ability to deal with time sensitive issues in support of critical service level commitments Should be willing to work weekends Bring new automation procedures to improve the velocity and quality of engineering efforts. Using Systems and Networking knowledge to isolate and fix application problems Software builds and release management; script/automation of build process, creation of beta and formal versions of the application. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial. 10-12 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Exclusively worked UNIX/Linux operating systems. Database knowledge with strong SQL skills like Oracle, Sql Server, etc and writing complex SQL queries. Prior experience of backend technologies required (i.e. Java11+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Unit testing etc.). Prior experience with Troubleshooting, debugging and monitoring production environment. Good knowledge of coding principle (design principle and security principle) Basic knowledge of frontend technology (i.e. Angular, RxJs, Material UI). Basic knowledge of workflow technology (i.e. Camunda) Good Knowledge of Hazelcast. Some understanding Integration, e2e and performance test, build and CICD Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to learn and pick up new skills and to perform with minimal management supervision Strong Communication Skills and strong experience in SDLC, DevOps processes - CI/CD tools, Git, etc. Good Understanding of Messaging frameworks like ActiveMQ or IBM MQ or Kafka Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab. Experience automating deployments and other repetitive tasks Experience with support activities like platform administration, deployments, upgrades, and understands & troubleshoots issues when incidents are reported in the platform. Experience in external and internal cloud and working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Proficiency in using the JIRA, Confluence, Service now Analytic and data driven experience in supporting applications part of the Trade Lifecycle. To understand trade capture and financ al operations would be desirable. Experience in deployment and strong debugging skills in Docker Experience with monitoring tools a plus - Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Moogsoft or related solutions Familiarity with ITIL Service Management. Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to appropriate sections. Prioritize and handle service requests, incidents, change management and problem tickets
