Hitachi Rail STS USA SCRUM PRODUCT OWNER 2 in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania
HITACHI RAIL STS USA, INC., headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, seeks a Scrum Product Owner 2. This is a hybrid position offering the ability to work from home up to 3 days per week, with 2 days per week required in the office. The Scrum Product Owner 2 will perform the following duties: (1) leverage technical knowledge of Railway transportation management systems (TMS) and Automated Train Supervisor (ATS) systems to develop detailed specifications for product features such that they can be utilized by software development teams to design, develop and implement software code; (2) develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation by the software development teams; (3) translate customer requirements into user stories for the software development teams to implement, and (4) develop an agile framework software development roadmap for software teams that will inform the design, development, coding, testing, and deployment of technical features in alignment with end customer needs.
Position requires a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or IT, and four (4) years of experience in a Systems Engineer or Product Owner role in or for a rail or transportation company.
Must have experience with the following: (1) translating complex technical customer requirements into an Agile framework user stories that can be utilized by software development teams; (2) creating a work breakdown structure from a large technical requirement into smaller components including Epics, Features and User Stories, and then developing a technical roadmap for Agile software development teams; and (3) working with complex technical enterprise grade systems (TMS or ATS), to develop detailed specifications for product features which are then utilized by software development teams to design, develop and implement software code.
Must hold a professional Certified Product Owner certification from an industry standard organization (Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, or International Scrum Institute).
