Robert Half Receptionist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client in the Strip District is looking for a contract only Receptionist for 3-4 months to handle general Receptionist duties starting July 1st. It is fully onsite and schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Duties include, answering phones, data entry, email correspondence, etc. Pay rate $17-$19. This role involves managing a multi-line phone system, providing excellent customer service, and performing data entry. The successful candidate will also be responsible for email correspondence, organizing files, and scheduling appointments. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the phone system to handle incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate staff, take and distribute messages

• Providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

• Performing data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Handling email correspondence, responding to inquiries, forwarding emails to appropriate departments, and ensuring prompt communication

• Organizing files and documents, ensuring easy accessibility and maintaining an efficient filing system

• Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to perform tasks and manage information

• Developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships within the team and with clients

• Ensuring the reception area is well-maintained, presentable, and welcoming to visitors.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Experience with data entry tasks

• Ability to handle email correspondence efficiently

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff and customers

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in organizing files and maintaining a tidy workspace

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

• Previous experience in a receptionist role is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required
