QUALITY MANAGER

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management program(s). Will develop program evaluation designs and instrumentation as well as collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Responsible for conducting interviews, educational research and reporting evaluation findings. The Quality Manager will organize and implement an annual quality training strategy, including but not limited to classroom training, coaching and consultations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Organize and implement an annual quality training strategy; including but not limited to continuous quality improvement coaching, classroom training, consultations, and “just in time” education.

  • Formulate and manage the development and implementation of program standards, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, processes, and systems pertaining to quality assurance and quality control.

  • Establish and set quality assurance /control metrics for key processes and ensure that targets are achieved.

  • Maintain awareness of the business context and organization, including profitability, budgetary control issues, evidence-based practices, and systems for measuring quality improvement

  • Effectively work across all divisions of the company to facilitate and monitor compliance with the quality improvement design and plans against internal and external requirements and report results to the board, management team, and persons served.

  • Assist key leaders in developing key performance indicators and automated management reports for process control and decision support systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in (public policy, health administration, public health) preferred with 3 years of relevant experience including 2 years in a management/supervisory capacity OR Bachelor’s Degree in (applied science, business administration or related field) plus 5 years of industry related experience in health care and/or human service including 2 years in a management/supervisory capacity.

  • Must have excellent communication skills both written/oral along with great attention to detail relating to documentation, deadlines, and other deliverables

  • Strong interpersonal with clear, concise, and persuasive writing and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and congenially with employees at diverse levels; capable of motivating colleagues.

  • Decisive and exercises good judgment under pressure.

  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables; ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and other related programs.

  • Must have access to a vehicle.

  • Must be able to obtain ACT 33/34/73 clearances

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexibility (exempt professional position)
