Aethon, founded in 2004, is a proven global leader in intralogistics automation through its autonomous mobile robot platform.  Our robots automate physical delivery and transportation of materials for the healthcare, industrial and hospitality markets. POSITION SUMMARY (Purpose of Job): To provide overall project management and leadership in the achievement of Aethon assigned projects and departmental business objectives while maintaining a high and consistent level of quality service and customer support and satisfaction.  The Project Manager will be responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and project deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (List essential responsibilities and duties):

Initiate and maintain a client implementation plan and perform ongoing project assessments for plan revisions while ensuring timely project deliverables. Demonstrate flexibility to effectively respond to changing project and client needs while balancing multiple on-going simultaneous project plans. Monitor project responsibilities and ensure timely task completion through conformity to Aethon implementation methodology. Prepare issue analysis, status updates, and special reporting to Aethon executive team and client project team on a regular basis. Manage the implementation process for individual projects, system integration tasks, communications, and overall client satisfaction. Demonstrate effective communication skills, verbal and written, with customers, project teams and leadership. Provide focal point project contact for Aethon/client communications and escalation of project issues. Manage team resources within scope of project responsibilities, including timely resolution of schedule, responsibility, and team conflicts. Establish timely, clear task and project expectations. Provide adequate, proactive planning for all phases of the implementation. Maintain a high level of communication with all levels of client interaction to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution. Able to remove team roadblocks though creative problem solving, negotiation or conflict management skills. Serve as a key consultant for hospital process reengineering. Ability to relate user policy guidelines to product features and functions. Capability to assist in resolution of discrepancies between user policies and software functionality through technical solutions or policy re-engineering. Promote and optimize client product ownership and clinical integration through support of: On-site change management services post go-live to optimize efficiency. Train-the-trainer education methodology. Autonomous post-pilot go-live support. First-line product support and troubleshooting. Maintain fiscal responsibility for business related expenses.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education / Business Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Two plus years' project management experience in a vendor or hospital setting Advanced knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and relevant clinical and IT operations. Demonstrated skills to prioritize the implementation needs of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to facilitate team projects. Required Soft Skills: Negotiation Skills Effective interpersonal skills Team leadership Ability to work in matrixed environments Effective, professional customer communications (both verbal and written) Decision making skills Building and leading effective project teams Con lict resolution Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio preferred. Position offers 50% overnight national travel.
