Position Summary

RJ Lee Group is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to provide administrative coordination and assistance to multiple senior scientific staff in the Technical Consulting Group and Analytical Services.

Provide administrative coordination of wide range of projects for multiple senior scientific staff including, but not limited to:

  • Setup new and maintain project records in database and on network
  • Record and track all project activities
  • Log and track samples received, prepare and track work orders for laboratory testing, track, compile and file test results
  • Log and track project related documents received and acquired
  • Follow-up with personnel to ensure deadlines are met
  • Invoice projects using time and materials and unit pricing approach
  • Archive and store closed project samples and documents

Provide administrative support to senior scientific staff including, but not limited to:

  • Data compilation, report preparation, research, proposals, cost estimates, budgets, timelines, client presentations, and other project related documentation
  • Schedule meetings, teleconferences and travel
  • Record and track staff publications and presentations, scientific literature and testimony given

Provide administrative support for the firm as needed

  • Serve as backup to other project coordinators as need arises
  • Provide coverage for receiving and digital receptionist duties to include welcoming guests, answering and directing calls, sample/package receiving and mail sorting

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience providing administrative support in an office or laboratory environment
  • Keen interest in a fast-paced scientific environment with an emphasis on accuracy, completeness and attention to detail
  • Strong skills in organization and prioritization
  • Ability to work independently and with a team; must interact with both scientific and administrative personnel at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel and Power Point. Experience with Adobe Products, Sales Force, Photoshop, and/or graphic design desired
