DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Program Facilitator/Volunteer Coordinator has the dual roles of coordinating volunteers and assisting students with program needs. This staff will connect participants with career exploration, job search, placement and retention program services and related training, in-house or community based, to adult learners by ensuring needs are met, goals are implemented, and a safe environment is maintained. The Program and Volunteer Facilitator is responsible for facilitating the recruitment, training, and placement of volunteers to support participants in meeting their goals.  This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to orienting and assessing participants, helping to develop and document goals and goal plans, implementing goal plans, and monitoring goals and plans for modification and completion. This position is a community-based position. 

Duties include but are not limited to: * Complete required enrollment and orientation paperwork for all participants. * Develop transition and goal plans with students and instructors, conduct workshops on applicable transition topics, and conduct exit interview students to determine next steps and reason for leaving. * Provide referrals to career services for job specific training, support and ensuring that individuals' needs are met, goals are implemented, and a safe environment is maintained. * Facilitate formal assessment for incoming students during the orientation process. Maintain state required adult assessment certifications. * Monitor and report all outcomes including placement, employer, wages, benefits, hours, job retention and other stated outcomes (such as education, training, etc.) to Goodwill and PDE. * Work in conjunction with marketing department to identify recruitment sources for education department volunteers. * Conduct tutor training and orientation for all new volunteers and facilitate and document on-going professional development for all classroom aids.

Travel Required: Yes, travel is required. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 8:00pm - schedule varies External Hiring Range:  $37,960.00 - $39,478.40/year Retention Incentive:  $500 after 90 days of employment and an additional $500 after 6 months of employment. 

Qualifications:  * Bachelors Degree (Education/Teaching or related) 

Additional Qualifications:  * Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) upon hire.   * Tuberculosis test at hire.
