Post Doctoral Associate Med-Pediatrics - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24002260)

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine to study the myelination process in congenital muscular dystrophy. Specifically, the candidate will interrogate the spatiotemporal abnormalities in peripheral nervous systems in a disease mouse model and develop patient-specific co-culture systems to assess myelination in a dish. The successful candidate must have an MD and/or Ph.D. in a biomedical field and possess effective communication skills. Background with transgenic mouse models is preferred but not essential.
