Post Doctoral Associate GSPH-Infectious Diseases & Microbiology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23008857)

 

A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Velpandi Ayyavoo https://publichealth.pitt.edu/home/directory/velpandi-ayyavoo in the School of Public Health in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh. Projects are in the areas of Alzheimer and Neurodegenerative research. The Postdoctoral Associate will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty members within the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology on grant proposals, participate in preparation and publication of their research findings, attend seminars and professional development opportunities, and presentation of research scholarship at scientific meetings. The Ayyavoo Lab is seeking competitive candidates who have recently earned a Ph.D. degree in Neuroimmunology, Virology or a related field of study, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience in Alzheimer research and Neurodegenerative diseases.
