Student organizations play a major role in our active and vibrant campus community. Our Student Organization Resource Center (SORC) is here to ensure that our student organizations have the support they need to operate at the highest level. Reporting to the Associate Director for Organizations and Advising, the Office Manager will directly manage the office functions which support over 700+ student organizations. Will assist the Associate Director to manage administrative office functions, supervision and management of student staff to deliver outstanding student services.

 

Position is primarily sedentary.

Job Summary

Performs administrative and general office support work.

Essential Functions

Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Organizations and Advising, the Office Manager will organize and oversee the daily operations of the SORC office, including oversight of front-line customer service operations and the hiring, training, and supervision of a team of approximately 8-10 student workers. The candidate will manage both the vehicle rental request process and the SORC Concessions Program. Responsible for the oversight of the inventory and distribution of office supplies for student organizations. Supports the Associate Director with administrative tasks such as running periodic reports related to student organizations, student organization event contracts and assistance with general communications to student organization leadership.
