Laboratory Research Technician II - Chen Lab
The Chen Lab is seeking a Laboratory Research Technician II to help the lab focus on identifying and studying E3 ligases that modulate the inflammatory cascade, mitochondria function/mitophagy, and DAMPs/inflammasome/necroptosis in order to develop novel therapeutics for various age-related diseases.
Job Summary
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
Essential Functions
Basic scientific laboratory work at the bench space. Repetitive pipetting, Handling mice. Must have good eye to hand coordination, excellent visual acuity, and manual dexterity. Must be able to reach/stack consumables on shelves and occasionally move equipment.
Physical Effort
Must be able to move swiftly between testing rooms; be able to lift and carry 15 pounds.
