Description:
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Housing Stabilization Coordinator provides a multitude of services within the Emergency Shelter to include intakes and assessments, complete and/or update individual goal plans; provide necessary support for access to items to maintain daily living while an individual served is engaged at Emergency Shelter; monitor and deploy de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all individuals served; assists individuals served with all necessary documentation for moving towards a housing first model of operations and support.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Ensures Procedures and Policies are implemented and effectively followed
Ensure achievement of benchmarks for performance are met
Understands and appreciates the demands of the population served in Emergency Shelter
Ability to troubleshoot questions related to program guidelines
Collaborate with colleagues and develop recommendations to present to Supervisor to add (or decrease) services based upon individuals served needs
Timely completion of required tasks per Emergency Shelter shift checklist
MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS: (must match requirements in job description)
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a HS Diploma OR Equivalent with 4 years’ experience.
Act 33/34 and 73 Clearances

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. 3 pm to 11pm Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday.
