Graphic Design Coordinator Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a national law firm with a proven reputation for providing progressive, industry-leading legal, business, regulatory and government relations advice to our regional, national and international clients. We are currently searching for a Graphic Design Coordinator to support our Marketing team in our corporate Pittsburgh location. The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing the daily operations of the graphic design function which include artistic concepting and hands-on design with the ability to develop creative solutions that best meet the business development and marketing needs of the firm. This position is responsible for the conceptualization of digital, print and video marketing projects. They will implement day-to-day design requests using the firm's established brand identity and guidelines.

In this position you will:     • Implement design requests to promote the firm's reputation and visibility while working within the firm's established brand identity and guidelines.     • Create original marketing pieces for special projects, including print and online advertising, e-mail marketing, digital event invitations and signage, brochures, social media graphics and PowerPoint presentations.     • Design both print and digital brochures for the firm overall, practice areas and industry groups.     • Assist with business development graphics for proposals as needed.     • Handle creation of event materials including the set-up and design of event invitations, registration forms and surveys, confirmation emails, calendar links, event signage, agendas, programs, handouts and follow-up emails / materials. Edit invitation copy as needed.     • Assist in creating and editing videos.     • Assist in coordinating, resizing and formatting professional photos. And maintain photo licensing and vendor relationships and oversee projects produced by vendors and freelancers.     • Organize and keep updated all online design files.     • Interface with all levels of attorneys and business professionals and exercise professional judgement to interpret needs of various departments. Successful candidates will have:     • The drive and creative conceptualization to complete projects and propel the Firm toward marketing goals.     • Understanding of print and online media design, offset and digital printing processes, and electronic design and image optimization for various web devices.     • The ability to manage multiple projects and varying deadlines while producing quality work product with little oversight.     • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal employees and external clients and vendors.     • Experience with video editing and production, HTML or CSS, content management systems (CMS), email marketing applications (MailChimp, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud.     • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably for an advertising, public relations, or digital agency.     • Associate Degree or certification in Graphic Design, required.
