ModCon Construction Laborer (Entry Level) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

STATUS: Full-Time

LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA

Compensation: hourly rate $17-20/Hour, but will be based on experience and skill set

ModCon is a Veteran owned company founded by real estate investors for real estate investors! As Investors ourselves we quickly came to realize that many contractors are not suited to handle our projects. Due to our own needs, we created ModCon to be a timely and responsive company that can handle beginning-to-end remodels for any investor with quality and efficiency in mind. At ModCon we value integrity, professionalism, quality, safety, and innovation.

We are quickly expanding, and in order to provide the quality service our clients expect we are searching for individuals who are ready to work! We are currently seeking reliable individuals with a variety of skill sets.

Currently, our working hours are Monday- Thursday, ten-hour shifts 7 am-5 pm, with opportunities for overtime when possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs various physical duties as assigned.
  • Maintain all safety standards.
  • Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training.
  • Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the job site/assignment.
  • Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
  • Loads and unloads tools and building materials into work vehicles.
  • Follows all local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions from the site manager.
  • Uses hand tools, power tools, and heavy construction tools to complete construction projects.
  • Drives work vehicles to and from construction sites.
  • Reports any issues to the site manager.

Requirements:

  • A high school qualification or equivalent.
  • Stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Excellent hand-eye-coordination skills.
