Conference Services Support Specialist
Receptionist
Schedule: ON SITE 5 days/week. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch.
*Overtime as needed to support events that may be after hours. *
$$40,000 -- $50,000.00 based on experience
Summary
The successful candidate is one who can immediately connect with people.
Interpersonal skills are key in this position.
Someone with a warm, call demeanor with a front desk presence.
This is a "catch-all" role to support the functioning of the office.
Responsibilities
- Room scheduling
- Checking in with attorneys and staff on what is needed and who is handling what (valet, office services, etc.)
- Organizing depositions
- Assisting with budget: paying bills, processing invoices, keeping and coding receipts
- Overseeing conference center.
- Monitoring meetings
- Calling for repairs,
- Finding support for events.
- Working closely with security to monitor guests and visitors
- Tracking loaner badges
- Maintaining visitor logs.
*Experience/Qualifications: *
- 1-2 years of administrative experience.
- Candidate must be comfortable handling confrontation and emergencies.
- Candidate must be professional and polished, proactive, accountable, adaptable, outgoing, and must have fantastic communication skills.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- A legal background is a plus.
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Event planning experience is a plus.
