PNC ALM Associate - Liquidity & Capital Planning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

This role as an Associate in Capital and Liquidity Management (Treasury) reports directly to the head of the Capital Planning and Management Group and will provide opportunities to perform a broad range of analyses and reporting. This group is responsible for the strategy, analytics, and execution of capital management related activities at PNC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing due diligence and statistical analysis related to capital planning and management activities.

  • Participating in annual capital stress testing efforts (CCAR) and development of PNC's capital plan.

  • Assisting with planning and execution of PNC's share repurchase program.

  • Performing research, financial analyses, and preparation of reports for PNC and peers using independent judgment and discretion.

  • Assisting with the development of executive and board-level presentations.

  • Presenting to senior management.

  • Reviewing relevant regulations related to capital and liquidity planning.

  • Collaborating with internal partners on topics related to capital planning, including working with internal Finance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, and business line teams.

Job Description

  • Using independent judgment and discretion, performs financial analysis, conducts research and prepares reports. Performs due diligence and statistical analysis related to liquidity and capital planning management. Participates in stress testing efforts.

  • Independently conducts peer research in relation to liquidity and capital planning.

  • Manages and performs defined procedures, analysis and report preparation. Performs data aggregation and quality assurance to ensure timely and accurate management reporting. Performs routine transactions as part of the group's liquidity and capital management responsibilities.

  • Prepares and aggregates data for forecasting activities based on business and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborates with internal partners on topics related to liquidity and capital planning. Assists with the development of executive or board-level presentations.

Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
