Administrative Assistant

This Administrative Assistant II will work for Faculty members in the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center / The Assembly, providing daily administrative support as well as ongoing expertise with regard to various administrative duties. Incumbent will act professionally, often as the first contact with visitors (domestic and international), PITT and UPMC professionals and staff.

Job Summary

Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.

Essential Functions

Incumbent must have excellent organizational and communications skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks at one time. Must always display a professional demeanor. Must keep current on university systems and rules. Must have strong computer, problem solving and organizational skills. Work must be accurate, complete and timely. Experience with Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Endnote is a plus.

Physical Effort

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
