Description
Accounts Payable Clerk:
Our client is seeking a temporary accounts payable clerk onsite in the Crafton area.
Provide administrative support to various departments, including handling mail, making copies, filing, answering and directing phones, and organizing office supplies.
Proactively manage the accounts payable process, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in a timely manner.
Handle vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in invoice processing.
Maintain thorough records of expenses, ledgers, and audits.
Stay up-to-date with any changes in company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
Assist with monthly closure of financial records and postings.
Ensure timely payment of invoices, verifying approvals and organizing payment runs.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial documents.
Achieve compliance with corporate policies and procedures for invoice processing.
Assist with leading the implementation of accounts payable best practices to improve efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive company and employee information.
Support other team members and departments with administrative tasks as necessary.
Capable of multitasking with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Show proficiency in Microsoft Office
