The position will be responsible for designing & developing applications and products (internal to Colgate) in various Cloud technology platforms. like SAP BTP, GCP and Salesforce.
The candidate needs to understand Mobile device development, open source development (as per the specific requirement).
You'll will also drive improvements in performance, security, maintainability and scalability of our applications. As an experienced Full Stack Developer, your mission is to help our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your knowledge of databases, UX design, development process, coding, and testing will help our team raise their game, meeting standards as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and
solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally.

Main Responsabilities
As a Developer -
Design client side and server side architecture
Developing functional web and mobile applications
Building reusable, performant and clean code
Write effective API’s (Application Programming Interfaces)
Writing automated tests
Providing feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimizing applications for scalability and speed
Review program codes and suggest correction in case of any errors
Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can add value to the business
As a Collaborator -
Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project
Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to comply with governance practices
Mentor and coach junior developer resources
Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of IT standards and governance processes
Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
2+ years of Software development experience is preferred
Prior internship experience in software development is required
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) or TypeScript
Experience developing front end web applications, using React Framework, knowledge of Angular will be helpful.
Experience developing server-side programming using Core Java on the Spring Bot framework.
Good Knowledge with DBMS technology is a must, like SQLServer and/or MongoDB and/or MySQL.
Proficiency with Git version control
Experience & knowledge in DevOps principles
Familiarities with modern JavaScript tools, like npm and webpack
Familiarity with browser rendering behavior and performance
Experience with backend/API development
Experience with capabilities of major Cloud Service providers (SAP BTP and/or GCP and/or Salesforce) will be preferred
Preferably Familiar with JS automated testing tools and frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Java Certification
Application development using SAP BTP technology
Experience in Spring Bot framework
Experience in React framework
Software testing skills
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $70,400.00 - $116,550.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
