Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Information Infrastructure Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Technical Application Finance Specialist! This position coordinates and monitors procurement of information technology equipment and triages service authorizations for DCT staff. This position also manages the DCT Operations Support budget as it relates to information technology subscriptions, licenses, and equipment, and manages the application inventory system.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the Technical Service Liaison to MN.IT, to ensure electronic data systems are authorized and efficiently obtained for DCT staff. Manage the DCT Operations Support budget as it relates to information technology contracts, subscriptions, and licenses to ensure continuity of service.
Manage workgroups consisting of members from different DCT divisions to address concerns and formulate solutions regarding process and procurement concerns.
Manage the DCT Application Inventory System. Work with divisions to determine recovery priorities and update information required for MN.IT to provide technical support to over 140 applications.
Serve as the Business Administrator for the various applications, managing access and permission levels for users of the various systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience with inventory, procurement, or management of technology that demonstrates the following:
Experience procuring goods and services through communication with business areas and vendors.
Experience reconciling and approving invoices.
Experience using software such as SWIFT, EIOR, Business Objects, Excel, Access, and/or SharePoint.
Experience with process improvement.
Note: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, or related may substitute for 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Health Data Analyst.
