[Registered Nurse-McDonald County Health Dept. [McDonald County is urgently hiring nurses to continue that level of dedication to the McDonald County Community! [Registered Nurses in these settings offer direct care and also disseminate information, make referrals, and manage caseloads. In addition to the more traditional nursing duties assessing health status and providing treatment the perfect candidate needs to be knowledgeable of community resources and of the needs of the population served. They may encounter children who need screenings and services and parents who have no idea what is available or how to ask for it. Cultural competence is a must, and bilingualism is a plus. Public health nurses may also be a part of the infrastructure that responds to natural disasters to the area. [Want to expand your education. We will work with you to take classes and pay for them to expand your education and career. [Normal day shift hours. Our schedule is also Mon-Thursday for full time employees with Friday, Saturday, and Sundays off unless an emergency. [Benefits and 13 paid Holidays.
