About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Pine Bluff Arsenal. This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist in performance of assignments related to the administrative, financial, and management functions for the division. Responsibilities Conduct segments of staff studies and analyzes functions that indicate a high potential for improvement through processes, procedures, automation systems or changes in business practice/policy. Prepares recurring reports that provide required cumulative information and data. Reports contain all pertinent information to include, but not limited to, supporting data with recommendations. Conducts segments of surveys and studies of supply operation to determine proper application of improved logistics methods. Sustains logistics, supply and transportation processes and assists in a team to monitor deliveries and shipping actions within systems. Manage logistics and recurring or annual reports. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes the support of material management and logistics operations of ammunition and weapons supplies, transportation, distribution, and maintenance pertaining to the administrative, financial, and management functions for a military or industrial facility. OR Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. in a related field of study such as Logistics Management, which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. OR A combination of experience and education which meet minimum qualification standards to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Client Engagement/Change Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
