Eaton Corporation Reticulator Machine Operator- 2nd Shift in Pinckneyville, Illinois

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Reticulator Machine Operator- 2nd Shift for our Pinckneyville facility. The shift hours are 3:30 pm -12:00 am, Monday - Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $21.40 per hour, plus a $0.40/ hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

• Safely run, monitor, and adjust one reticulator per the training guidelines.

• Throw off and stack material

• Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.

• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilizing Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine specifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in die selection, setting of dies, and making adjustments

• Demonstrated knowledge of dies, press, feed system, and product characteristics

• Demonstrated proficiency in the identification of machine and product issues, root cause analysis and problem-solving, development, and implementation of corrective action

• Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools

• Possess forklift license and demonstrated ability to handle material with forklift

• Train others as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing Experience

  • Proficiency with tape measuring equipment
