Kellanova Plant Operations Services Manager in Pikeville, Kentucky

As a Plant Operations Services Manager in our Pikeville, KY plant, you ’ll use your warehouse and distribution skills to manage our warehouse supporting the making of our delicious and sought-after brands. You will be overseeing inbound and outbound activities, internal product movements, shipping, transportation, and the team supporting you. Safety—both for food and people—is paramount.

You will be part of the leadership team, assisting with setting the direction, policy, and strategic plan for the plant. Additionally, you’ll handle project management, build vendor relationships, and collaborate with production teammates. Join us today and grow your career with Kellanova!

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • All around MVP - Day-to-day you’ll be leading all inbound/outbound activities, warehouse, internal movements of products, shipping, transportation activities, and the team that supports you.

  • Successful Metrics - Food and people safety are a top priority, so along with embracing and driving that culture, you’ll be accountable for managing all associated costs within the warehouse, creating the budget, reporting out on gaps, and developing plans to close them, on-time loading, inventory management and a few more.

  • Project Management – Use your time management and goal-oriented skills in order to provide leadership and support on distribution-focused projects. You will create and maintain budgets as well as oversee adherence to budgetary guidelines and financial targets.

  • Vendor Relationships – You’ll be flexing your relationship-building skills as you manage our partners who help our logistics operations.

  • Support – Collaboration is one of your skillsets as you working with operations to support our production teammates. As products come in for production, you’ll oversee the logistics of getting to the appropriate line. Like being in the know and being agile? Great – as production needs to change, so do your moves.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High School diploma/GED with significant relevant experience

  • Experience in a union environment

  • SAP or similar software experience

  • Previous Warehouse Management experience within a manufacturing setting

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage people in a fast-paced 7 day per-week operation

  • Experience creating, maintaining and adhering to budget guidelines and financial targets
