Aaron Swan and Associates is seeking highly motivated Materials Testing Technicians to join our team. Positionsare availablein Pierre, Rapid City and Sioux Falls. The successfulcandidateswill be responsiblefor testing aggregates, asphalt, and concrete, testing of construction materials in a lab and in the field. Daily and overnight travel is required, we offer paid travel time, daily per diem, and company vehicles.*[We are currently seeking immediate help in our Materials Testing division to support the large number of ongoing projects we have this season. No previous testing experience is required. In addition to finding long-term, successful employees, we are also seeking shorter-term commitments from those looking for an opportunity to build their resume.

Responsibilities:: -Conduct Testing on aggregate, asphalt and concrete materials -Perform Laboratory and Field tests on construction materials -Prepare reports on test results and communicate findings to management and project teams -Follow Safety protocolsand ensure compliancewith regulatory requirements -Maintain testing equipment, ensuring it is working order and is properlycalibrated -Collaborate with project teams to ensure materials meet project specifications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• ACI, SDDOT or other Certification preferred, willing to train the right candidate -Ability to read and interprettechnical drawing and specifications preferred -Must be willing to travel overnight -Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Overtime required
