SAIC Program Control Analyst in PICATINNY ARSENAL, New Jersey
Description
SAIC is seeking a Program Control Analyst to join our team at Picatinny Arsenal.
This will be a part time position with around 20 hours per week .
Responsibilities :
Provide professional Government Accounting and financial assistance to the assigned area and financial manager regarding financial and accounting functions, the application of accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
Possess knowledge of Government Accounting functions and Government financial systems.
Support audits and quarterly reviews.
Research and resolve abnormal account conditions/transactions.
Conduct on-going reviews of accounts to quickly discover abnormal conditions and to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and/or directives.
Liaise with external accounting organizations to resolve abnormal account conditions, perform audit functions, and ensure financial accountability.
Communicates with team members and provide timely responses to inquiries.
Provide accounting advice and assistance to team members and Government leadership and provide briefings on accounting matters when needed.
Qualifications
Required Education :
Bachelors and three (3) years or more related experience; Masters and one (1) year of related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Qualifications :
Must Possess knowledge of Government Accounting functions and Government financial systems.
Experience working with audits and quarterly reviews.
Versed in providing accounting advice and briefing teams on accounting matters.
Clearance :
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; Minimum of an interim Secret clearance required to start.
